BSc Applied Mathematics with Economics
This programme produces high quality and innovative economics and financial graduates, who are equipped with a sound knowledge of mathematics, as well as expertise in modern economics and finance. In this programme, students use a range of economic tools, culminating in a final research project that also develops managerial skills.
Teaching focuses on theoretical and mathematical analysis, and also covers economic studies, computation, mathematical theory, and skills such as analytical skills, computer skills and research skills.
Students graduating from this programme receive degrees in BSc Applied Mathematics with Economics from the University of Birmingham and Economics (Mathematical economics and finance) from Jinan University.
