Alex’s work examines how physical activity and exercise influence immunity in a variety of population groups (e.g., individuals with autoimmune illnesses and cancer). Dr. Barlow has more than 10 years’ experience using extracellular flux analysis and high resolution respirometry for assessing ‘real-time’ cellular metabolism in cells and tissues.
