CAHA Study Tour

Our second-year Study Tour module gives students the unique opportunity to travel on a guided tour of archaeological sites.
The tour is an exciting and important element of the programmes below:
CAHA students visiting the Acopolis in Athens
CAHA students socialising at the Pnyx in Athens
CAHA students enjoying a tour of the Acropolis in Athens
CAHA Students at the National Museum in Athens
CAHA students enjoying a talk at the Acropolis Museum in Athens
The Study Tour is a guided tour of archaeological sites relevant to your studies that takes place during the Easter vacation. Currently students travel to Greece, but travel to Rome, Pompeii and the Romano-British sites may be possible in future years. Students will be accompanied by CAHA teaching staff on the guided tour.
The ability to travel will vary depending on staff availability and external factors (e.g. costs of travel, Covid-19 restrictions, FCO advice). If the study tour cannot go ahead, alternative arrangements will be provided for students.
The School covers the cost of airfares, accommodation, and travel. Students are expected to cover their daily sustenance and travel outside the planned itinerary.
Students can complete an online-only virtual tour linked to the topic of the guided tour if they choose not to travel.
